Jared Loper
Head Jiu-Jitsu Coach
Jared is a black belt under Weiss Sakhizada with over a decade of Jiu-Jitsu experience and has been a public education teacher for nearly as long. As a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor, Jared has won the IBJJF American National and Asia Open titles as well as several other IBJJF competitions in his division. He has also participated in a number of sanctioned Muay Thai bouts to round out his abilities as a martial artist. As an educator, he was awarded Teacher of the Year. Jared combines his skills from teaching and his experience as an accomplished grappler to bring the best possible instruction to the Fishers BJJ scene.
Jon Aimone
Head MMA Coach/Assistant BJJ Coach
Jon is our head MMA coach and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who comes to us with an extensive background in BJJ and MMA. Having trained under a variety of instructors, in several martial arts, Jon supplies us with a wealth of knowledge gained from his numerous experiences across the Indianapolis fighting community; which he uses to teach both MMA and Jiu-Jitsu to practitioners of all experience levels.
Andrea Schoenegge
Assistant BJJ Coach
Andrea is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with an expansive competition pedigree. Having competed against some of the literal best in her division, Andrea has shown her knowledge, grit, and talent time and time again; proving that some of the best grapplers can come out of Indianapolis. She is capable of working with Jiu-Jitsu students of all skills and abilities to improve their abilities. She is also 1/2 of the Queer BJJ podcast, Lez Roll Radio.
Kelly Schoenegge
Assistant Jiu-Jitsu Coach
Kelly is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and an avid competitor. She began her BJJ journey here in Indianapolis with an eye for details and a desire to continually learn. As an educator, her drive to always learn and share her Jiu-Jitsu knowledge shows through in how she structures her lessons and drills. As our Intersectional Class Coach, Kelly instructs those who belong to marginalized genders. She is also 1/2 of the Queer BJJ podcast, Lez Roll Radio, and she organized the first major BJJ Queer Camp in Fishers, Indiana in 2023.
Wesley Stevens
Assistant Jiu-Jitsu Coach
Wesley comes to us with years of martial arts experience. As a member and assistant coach at our affiliate school - The School of Self-Defense - Wesley has a deep knowledge of grappling from a Jeet Kune Do, Judo, Sanda, and Catch Wrestling background. As a purple belt in BJJ, Wesley has been working hard to improve and uplift everyone around them and has since begun Takedowns for Beginners class, and can almost always be seen helping newer practitioners of the art learn the finer details of the Jiu-Jitsu techniques they are learning. As a queer and genderfluid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete, Wesley also teaches our Womxn’s/Intersectional BJJ class.
Jacob Clark
Assistant BJJ Coach
Jacob is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Weiss Sakhizada and has over 17 years of BJJ experience. Previously a professional MMA fighter with Jackson Wink MMA and having fought in 18 professional fights, he now focuses on Jiu-Jitsu training and teaching in the Indianapolis and Fishers areas. He brings an analytical mind and strategy to his own grappling and to the meticulous planning he provides for other BJJ practioners. His extensive knowledge and background make him a valuable coach to spend time with.
Weiss Sakhizada
Affiliate Head
Weiss is a black belt under JT Torres. He opened Sucker Free Jiu-Jitsu with the purpose of creating an inclusive community and a premium place to train and has done exactly that. With numerous competition wins and several IBJJF titles against some of the top BJJ compettion in the world, Weiss is someone who knows his grappling and can pass that knowledge on to others with ease. He has been coaching Jiu-Jitsu for more than 10 years and comes with a wide array of knowledge.
Jamie Bradley
Head Muay Thai Coach
As a competitor, Jamie won the IKF World Classic title in 2007. Since then, she has continued to pioneer her way through the sport as the first female coach to ever appear in Lion Fight Promotions, and has worked with the United States Muaythai Federation. As the owner and head coach of KruFit, she continues to build a strong fight team and a culture of inclusivity and learning. She is a seasoned educator who knows how to help a variety of individuals learn in the best way possible. As one of the only muay thai coaches in the city, she works hard to bring the authentic sport to Indianapolis. She also donates her time to helping Jiu-Jitsu students learn self-defense from a striking perspective.
